Two years younger but basically my twin sister. Connected at the heart and hip for the past 35 years, I can't imagine life without this amazing woman. We have had countless adventures together in North Dakota, Alaska, Idaho, Washington and North Carolina. She has been through ALL of life's ups and downs with me and yet still somehow puts up with me. She's the queen of party planning, list making, multi-tasking, can read my mind and the absolute best at making everyone around her feel loved.

Best friends since my military days, Mike and I met overseas in Italy, where we lived next door to one another on base and became fast friends. We’ve been through it all together over the years –setting off on epic adventures, celebrating the good times, having each other’s back during the tough times, and always challenging one another to grow along the way. Simply put, Mike is one of the most genuine people on this planet, an all-around stand-up dude, and the best friend a guy could ever ask for.

Best friends since college and many (even our own kids!) think that we are sisters. Bekah has been through so many ups and downs in life with me. She has the biggest heart, is a fighter, the first to respond when others are need and not afraid to tackle the hard stuff. I am grateful for her steady friendship, attempts to make me an extrovert and amazing planning skills. My life would not be as fun without Bekah. She truly brings joy to so many.

One part best friend, one part brother, and one part father figure, words can’t begin to express my deep respect and gratitude for Bill. Among the many things that I’ve grown to appreciate most about Bill over the years, I appreciate his wisdom, our time together scheming up and knocking out countless projects (and wild adventures) together, and his storytelling. Bill is one of those rare people you might get lucky enough to cross paths with once in your life – the kind that leave a profound and lasting impact on your life in ways that you couldn’t have begun to imagine before meeting them.

Jessica is the best friend that everyone needs. She truly gets it as a fellow INFJ/ennegram 9 with a curious mind and desire to grow. Her heart for God and love and empathy for others goes deep. I admire her authenticity and am always encouraged and challenged by her though provoking questions and wisdom on all subjects close to the heart. I am so grateful for our friendship and mutual love for plants, design and good movies/shows.

Whether it’s getting slapped in the face with cake at a birthday party in India, stranded on an island, almost electrocuted and eaten by lions, or narrowly escaping death by stairs, some of my funniest memories involve Eric in some form or fashion. Wicked smart, driven, and downright hilarious - Eric and I have been brothers ever since we bonded over a work trip in South Africa years ago.

Jimmy's love for God and calm, wise and curious personality make him a treasured friend to Laura since college. He, Bekah and his family have been such a support to us through so many seasons and we are excited that he will officiate our commitment to each other.
