Where will the wedding be held?/Waar wordt de bruiloft gehouden?

Answer

We know, as an international couple, everyone’s wondering! We will be having the wedding in Jaivy’s home of the Netherlands. *************************************************************************** Als internationaal stel vraagt iedereen zich dat af! We trouwen in Jaivy's thuisland Nederland.

What language(s) will the wedding be in?/In welke taal of talen wordt de bruiloft gehouden?

Answer

While we both speak Dutch, the wedding will be in Dutch and English for both cultures. *************************************************************************** Hoewel we allebei Nederlands spreken, zal de bruiloft in het Nederlands en Engels gehouden worden, ter vertegenwoordiging van onze culturen.

No Disney wedding?/Geen Disney-bruiloft?

Answer

We would love to have a Disney wedding, but Disney weddings are a bit out of our price bracket, instead we’re having a beautiful wedding, close to Jaivy’s home, with touches of Disney. *************************************************************************** We zouden graag een Disney-bruiloft houden, maar Disney-bruiloften zijn uit onze prijsklasse, in plaats daarvan hebben we een prachtige bruiloft, dicht bij Jaivy's huis, met een vleugje Disney.

What is public transport like?/Hoe is het openbaar vervoer geregeld?

Answer

The Netherlands, like most of Europe, has excellent public transportation. If you don’t want to rent a car, that’s no problem! You can fly into the airport in Schiphol, and take a two hour train from there to Jaivy’s home. Most of the Netherlands also speaks English, so that’s also no problem! *************************************************************************** Nederland heeft, net als het grootste deel van Europa, uitstekend openbaar vervoer. Als je geen auto wilt huren, is dat geen probleem! Je kunt naar de luchthaven Schiphol vliegen en vanaf daar een twee uur durende trein nemen naar Jaivy's huis. Het grootste deel van Nederland spreekt ook Engels, dus dat is ook geen probleem!

What is the dresscode? /Wat is de dresscode?

Answer

We would like everyone to be nicely dressed, but not evening wear. Formal/Sunday best is ideal. Please, no jeans or tshirts. Also please avoid wearing white, or any other light/pale colors. *************************************************************************** We willen graag dat iedereen netjes gekleed is, maar geen avondkleding. Formeel/zondagskledij is ideaal. Geen spijkerbroeken of t-shirts. Vermijd ook het dragen van wit of andere lichte/bleke kleuren.

Will there be a livestream? /Komt er een livestream?

Answer

While we would love to have everyone be able to attend, we understand that a trip to Europe isn't possible for everyone. In order to help out, we will be having our ceremony live-streamed. *************************************************************************** Hoewel we graag zouden willen dat iedereen aanwezig kon zijn, begrijpen we dat een reis naar Europa niet voor iedereen mogelijk is. Om een handje te helpen, zullen we onze ceremonie live streamen.
