Fri, May 23, 2025, 9:00 pm - Sat, May 24, 2025, 12:00 am
Something to keep you WARM and any beverage you'd like to drink... unless feeling brave with a trip to our "bar fridge" (see below for more info.)
For those in the islands early, there will be a lakeside bonfire at our family property on Friday night and then hopefully again on Saturday night after the rehearsal dinner. Both will begin around 9-9:30 pm and will continue for as long as people can handle the VT cold! As Noah Kahan said "Forgive my northern attitude Oh, I was raised out in the cold" and yes, even the end of May can be extremely cold once the sun goes down. There will be s'mores to make and enjoy but please BYOB... unless you want to take a gamble with a beverage (heavy/light beer, cider, seltzers, hard iced teas/lemonades, wine, and who knows what else) from our "bar fridge" in the Horrigan house. Select and sip at your own risk, you have been warned...
2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
There will be specialty cheeseboards (made by Jamie!) made to enjoy alongside their delicious red, white, and rose, wines made right on property.
4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Please join us at the Horrigan family home “Pratt Haven” located on the island of Isle La Motte. ILM is a beautiful 20 minute drive from North Hero, the island that Shore Acres is on. (For guests staying at the North Hero House, you are also on North Hero and just a 3 minute drive from Shore Acres.) Please come and see the Horrigan family home and their slice of heaven, located right on the lake! Relax, take in the views, and enjoy some of the appetizers and hard/soft drinks that will be provided.
7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
The wedding party will enjoy dinner at a very special place to the Horrigan family. — For other guests, there will be a list of recommendations for restaurants to order take out from/dine at, as well as stores for grocery shopping. Please check back soon for more information or feel free to send an e-mail or text to Jen (781-910-8760) to find out recommendations sooner.
Sat, May 24, 2025, 9:30 pm - Sun, May 25, 2025, 12:00 am
Please know that this will be held back on our family property, on Isle La Motte, and is a 15-20 minute drive from the venue. This second bonfire would begin after the wedding party/family gets back from the rehearsal dinner (ends around 9pm and is down the street) - including the men who will be making the fire :)
The Bride and Groom are staying at Ruthcliffe (on ILM and where rehearsal dinner was held) for the night and will not be staying out too late! However, we'd love to enjoy a fire with those who could not make it the night before. The fire will be in the "lower field" on the lakeshore. As Noah Kahan said "Forgive my northern attitude Oh, I was raised out in the cold" and yes, even the end of May can be extremely cold once the sun goes down. Please dress accordingly!
