It was our freshman year of college, English 1102. Charlie noticed me first but played it cool and we became fast friends. He always got to class early because he knew I did too. A few months went by and as we spent more time together, we realized we were so much alike. We saw the world in almost exactly the same way with just enough differences to balance us out. I didn't think I would find my future husband so young (and I doubt he was expecting that either), but our chemistry was undeniable. We started dating on November 28, 2016. Our rocky start built the strong foundation that we have today. We weathered a lot in those first six months but the beautiful chaos brought us closer together. Four years later and people still ask us if we just started dating. The "honeymoon phase" is simply the stage that we are in - indefinitely. I have the tendency to be indecisive in other areas of my life, but I always knew, with unwavering certainty, that we would end up together. - Madison
