A wedding on Peaks island is a lot less complicated than you'd think. Portland is easy to fly into and there's a regular ferry service to the island from downtown Portland for the wedding. Most guests will want to stay in Portland to enjoy the city. A few hotels are walking distance to the ferry terminal. As an alternative, there's a few small rental houses on Peaks Island if you want a longer stay option.
Flight
Portland International Airport
Portland will be the most convenient Airport for those flying. It will put you just a short 15 minute Cab or Uber from Downtown Portland.
Travel Note
Ferry to Peaks Island
It will be a 15-20 Minute Ferry ride over to Peaks Island for the Wedding and tickets will be reserved for all guests. Please plan on catching the 12:15PM Ferry out of Portland on Saturday in order to make the ceremony at 1PM.
