Josh & Dani met back in the summer of 2013 at a birthday party, where Dani came very close to accidentally lighting him on fire with a citronella candle. Later that evening, for whatever reason, he gave her his phone number. With a little encouragement from his friend, she texted him a few days later. They have been together ever since. Josh & Dani currently live in New Jersey. Luckily, there have been no fires since - just endless debates on what to have for dinner.

In October of 2021, Josh & Dani took a trip to Disney World (aka the happiest place on Earth) to celebrate her father's birthday. After a long day of travel, it was suggested that everyone take a trip to the Grand Floridian for pre-dinner drinks. Upon arrival, everybody went on a walk to get some fresh air and enjoy the beautiful day before heading to the bar. Josh & Dani walked ahead of her family, and stood in front of the fountain ready to take the first picture. It was that moment when he got down on one knee, and asked her to marry him.
