I met Scott while working at Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts in Harrisburg, PA. Scott was one of our production vendors and I ran the volunteer program and would work in the theater as needed. I ran into him all of the time but on one particular occasion he made fun of me for wearing my coat (my office was across the street and it was February)! Every time that I saw him he made fun of me. A few weeks later our mutual friend, Brooks West was having a farewell show at McGrath's Pub in Harrisburg. I was there with some friends from Whitaker Center and Scott arrived after work and sat at the bar by himself. After a while at the bar, I invited Scott to sit with us. Shortly after that evening, we were messaging each other back and forth on facebook messenger. It didn't take us long before we were going out on our first date. Our very first date at McGrath's, a second date at my place making what's called "The Mish Dish" and the rest is history. We've had our ups and downs over the past 8.5 years but at the end of the day there is NO ONE I'd rather spend the rest of my life with than Scott. Our relationship has seen its fair share of bumps in the road with my mom's passing, searching for a house, etc. But there is one thing that I will always know and that is that Scott is my rock. He is always so kind and considerate and would do absolutely anything for me and my family. He's a really good role model to Jayden and spends quality time with him as he can. I'm so grateful for the beautiful life we have together and even more excited to officially call his family - my family. I have been so incredibly blessed by their presence in my life and can't wait to share forever with all of you! Michelle
