What is the date and time of the wedding?

Answer

May 1st, 2026. Ceremony starts at 4pm with cocktail hour and reception starting at 6pm.

Are the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

No. The ceremony will take place at 4pm at Old St. Mary's Catholic Church. The reception will begin at 6pm at the International Banquet and Conference Center, located inside The Atheneum Hotel.

Is there parking at Old St. Mary's Catholic Church? How can I get there from the hotel?

Answer

Yes! Free parking is available at Old St. Mary’s. It’s located about two blocks from The Atheneum, where the reception will be held and where we’ve reserved room blocks for our guests. You’re welcome to use the hotel shuttle to get to the ceremony; please note that it is shared with all hotel guests, is first-come, first-served, and cannot be reserved.

What time should I arrive?

Please plan to arrive at least 10-15 minutes before the ceremony begins. We'll be starting promptly!

How do I RSVP?

Please RSVP using the QR code provided on your invite or type the link into your browser and click on the RSVP tab at the top of the page.

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we will only be including older children who are close to the bride and groom. Thank you for understanding!

What Should I Wear?

Answer

Our dress code is semi-formal/black tie optional - meaning we would love to see you dressed up, but a tux or formal gown is not required. For women: Cocktail dresses, midi or floor-length dresses, or dressy jumpsuits For men: Slacks with button down, sport coat, tie optional but encouraged and if you feel like going black tie with a tuxedo, go for it! We want you to feel polished, comfortable, and ready to celebrate!

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! Valet at the Atheneum Hotel will be discounted for our wedding guests, however there are many parking garages nearby if you prefer to park elsewhere.

Answer

We wouldn't have it any other way! Get ready to celebrate.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate with all of our closest family and friends. To ensure we can comfortably accommodate everyone, we kindly ask that only those guests named on your invitation and RSVP are able to attend. We appreciate your understanding!

Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that phones be silenced and put away during the ceremony. We have hired and amazing photographer to capture our day and would like the photos to be free of cell phones. Feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like after the ceremony is finished.

Do you have a room block?

Answer

Yes! We have room blocks reserved at The Atheneum Hotel for both Thursday and Friday nights. Please visit the Hotel page on this website for details. Reservations must be made by calling the hotel directly. If you are told that the room block is full, please reach out to Kate, John, or Louise so we can request additional rooms on your behalf.
