Our wedding weekend happens to fall during Grand Prix Weekend — one of St. Pete’s most exciting annual events! The Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg brings IndyCar races, live entertainment, and plenty of energy to the downtown area. It’s such a fun time to be in the city, but it also means downtown St. Pete will be extra busy. If you’re planning to stay downtown or explore the area, we recommend booking accommodations and dining reservations early to make the most of the weekend!

Indian Shores Beach Access
Family friendly and easygoing, this beach is the closest to where we’ll be staying. We also love St. Pete Beach and Treasure Island, but this spot offers the perfect mix of relaxation and convenience.
Fort De Soto Park
Just a short drive from St. Pete, Fort De Soto State Park is a beautiful natural escape with scenic trails, a historic fort, and a dog beach. Visitors can also take the ferry to Egmont Key for a fun day trip. It’s perfect for swimming, kayaking, biking, or simply enjoying the stunning surroundings.
John's Pass Village & Boardwalk
Close to the Airbnb, John’s Pass is a charming waterfront village with shops, restaurants, and scenic Gulf views. Visitors can stroll the boardwalk, enjoy fresh seafood, or take a boat tour for fishing or dolphin watching.
