We're getting married!

We were only 12 years old when we met through mutual friends. We made arrangements to meet at his football game at Church St. Park and began dating shortly after. Chris was my first boyfriend and we dated for eight months but being young we didn't last. We broke up but stayed friends throughout high school. We lost some contact but I think fate brought us back together! I suffered an eye injury from playing basketball and I posted the picture on Facebook; within seconds Chris messaged me asking if I was okay. From that message forward, the magic was rekindled and we thought "This could be something."

We recently went to Walt Disney World to celebrate our anniversary (05/22), my birthday (05/24), and for our yearly vacation. I wouldn't say I was expecting a ring but was thinking "it would be nice to get one." :) After our anniversary date passed and no ring, I was thinking it wasn't going to happen; but the next day came and Chris wanted to get a professional picture taken in front on the castle at Magic Kingdom. I really didn't want to because it was expensive but he was insistent, so we did. As I was walking into place to take the picture, Chris apparently turned to the photographer and said "I'm going to propose." We posed to take the picture and after it was taken I started walking away, but turned around to see Chris down on one knee! He asked, "Will you marry me?" And of course I said, "YES!" It was such a magical moment in the happiest place on earth!
