Ugh, Mexico? Is it safe?

Play Del Carmen is incredibly safe. If you are at all weary or nervous, there are several well known resorts you can choose to stay at near the area. (Check out the accommodations page for that)

How do we get to Playa Del Carmen?

Answer

Easy! First fly into CUN airport (Cancun) Once you are there, walk out of the airport and there will be several safe and reliable taxi services willing to take you to PDC. Please check out Travel page for more taxi/shuttle info. We can't WAIT to see you!

How do we get to and from the venue?

Answer

The answer is no, you will not have to elect a DD. We will provide a shuttle service to and from the venue! Aka, you can have one more shot! More shuttle details, including pick up/drop off spot, to come!

What airline should I take?

Answer

Well OBVIOUSLY, #FlyDeltaJets, but youre still going to be invited if you decide on one of our little sister airlines! Airlines that fly into Cancun are endless. *Tip Look for a direct flight so you dont have a chance of losing that precious luggage filled with everything floral!

What about my kiddos?

Answer

Although we love those sticky little guys, we request they stay at home for this weekend. Enjoy some much needed time to yourselves! (You're welcome)

Answer

Please refer to the "Travel & Stay" page for radical recommendations! We do however quickly recommend looking near 5th avenue! That is more than likely where the shuttles will pick up and drop off everyone for the wedding day! (not to mention, its SO FUN)

How long is the flight?

On a good day? Daddy D can make it in 1:40. (More time, means more cookies)

The Cancun airport as of now DOES require a mask INSIDE the airport. When you are on the flight both ways, you are not required to wear one. There are no COVID restrictions in place for entering or leaving Mexico at this time! If you get COVID leading up to the wedding, please reach out personally!

The weather is mid 70's in March. So pack accordingly. If you get in town in time please pack an outfit for our welcome party & wedding celebration! Cutie cocktail!

We do recommend that you have Mexican Pesos on you. This way you can tip your drivers and bartenders. You can get them at the Atlanta Airport on E or F (there is a small fee, but once you hear the exchange you wont care) WOOHOO WE RICH
