Friend - Sister Julia has been my best friend for over 12 years. She is the left-brain to my right-brain, the Capricorn to my Sagittarius. Our love of music (both playing and listening) made us fast and eternal friends. Our bond is so strong that we even co-own a cat - without Julia, there would be no Knuffle Bunny. If you know us together you know we practically speak telepathically.

Sister - Friend Grace is one of the smartest and funniest people I know and I am so proud that she is my sister and my friend. She is my favorite person to go to a museum with or read a historical plaque together. No one better complements my pop-culture references, song lyric knowledge, or generalist enthusiasm.

Philip is my big brother, my first (best) friend, and my first roommate - he is the best. While his physical presence will be missed, he will be with me every step.

Chitty can best be described by two Fast and Furious quotes - "I don't have friends, I have family." - Chitty's never met a person he hasn't been willing to treat like family. "Ride or die." - There's no adventure or situation that Chitty isn't willing to jump completely into, without question, to support his "family." I have known Chitty since college and am proud to have experienced the great man he is.

Matt is a college friend/roommate but our friendship has grown even deeper after college. We share a love of theology, sports, and trivia. Matt and his wife, Allison, always offer Hope and myself genuine love and hospitality each time we visit them in Johnson City, TN - making our annual visits a yearly highlight.
Ben Hopf

Ben is someone I've known for all but 2 months of my life (due to me being 2 months older than Ben). Our dads' friendship created a solid foundation for our own lifelong friendship. A frustratingly gifted natural athlete in all sports he plays, I'm happy that I can show him a thing or two on the golf course. He's also frustratingly smart, but I concede to him there. My earliest memories as a child include Ben, and I'm thrilled that my memories to this date include him.
Ethan Oates

Ethan was by my side from high school through college as we both moved to Bloomington to attend IU. We were roommates at IU for three years. We value our time together so much that our first year as roommates we sacrificed having separate bedrooms and shared a room in order to have a communal "theater" room in the apartment - still one of our best ideas.
Nate Delong

We each know Nate separately from our time at IU. When envisioning our officiant we both pictured Nate before we even spoke to one another; it made this decision one of the easiest of wedding planning.
