Of course! We are excited for all of our friends and family to come and support us on this special day. But if you have not received First Communion in the Catholic Church or gone to the Sacrament of Reconciliation recently, then we request that when you process up during Communion, you cross your arms over your chest for a blessing instead of receiving the Holy Eucharist.
Yes! As Catholics, the Mass is extremely important. We believe that Jesus is physically present in the Eucharist. Please dress appropriately for this ceremony! Sleeves and dresses at an appropriate length are requested. Additionally, it’s wintertime in Wisconsin so being warm is very important!!
Mass begins at 1:00pm, but we would love for people to arrive a little earlier to mingle and to say hello to Jesus! Feel free to aim for 12:30-12:45, there will be plenty of seats available!
No it does not! Since the wedding takes place in the afternoon and not the evening, then it is an obligation for our Catholic brothers and sisters to attend Mass on Sunday. We will be having a 9:30 Mass on Sunday at the Hotel, but if that does not work with your schedule, please copy and paste the below link into your browser for Mass times at St. Charles: http://parish.stcharleshartland.com/page/worship-and-prayer-schedule
