After years of being in the same place, but not meeting, we met in college through a required theatrical make up class. Hope was new to TWU that semester, and Patrick was one of her first friends. When we talk to each other now, we have come to realize that we were both captivated by each other at first sight, but we were both too scared to make a move. It took eight months of being friends and some not so subtle flirting for us to figure things out. We think our friends are glad that they are no longer watching us circle each other. It is so funny to look back and see just how silly we were for not wanting to confront our feelings. We are both so happy with how everything turned out and are grateful to have built our relationship on a foundation of friendship.
