Question

What is the Traditional Latin Mass?

Answer

A Catholic wedding celebrated within the older, solemn form of the Mass (Extraordinary Form), featuring specific Latin rites, and distinct placement of vows and blessings. Emphasizing the sacrament's sacredness as a union mirroring Christ and the Church, with the couple as ministers of the sacrament and the Mass continuing after vows. Notes: The vows take place at the beginning before Mass begins. The date of our wedding falls on Ascension Thursday meaning that the Mass will have Ascension Propers. We ask that only practicing Catholics in the state of Grace receive communion. This is because we believe the Eucharist it to be the true Body and Blood of our Lord. Communion will be received kneeling (unless you are not able) at the altar rail, and on the tongue only.
