We met the summer heading into freshman year of high school and quickly became close friends. Over the course of the next two years, in Max's effort to play the long game, we upgraded our relationship to "Besties". Our junior year, after spending countless hours of quality time together, Hope finally came to her senses and we upgraded our relationship to "Dating".

With vacation 3 days away, a Saturday night-in was the perfect opportunity to catch Hope off guard. Being that we both highly value quality time with each other and our fur babies, it felt like the perfect romantic setting. With a bottle of wine open and Hope's favorite meal on the table, I got down on my knee and through her sobbing, she said YES!
