For some of the best views of the Columbia River Gorge, take a drive out to Rowena Crest, located just six or so miles past downtown Mosier.

If you are driving from Portland to Hood River, make a quick stop to see Multnomah Falls! The falls are right off of Interstate 84 -- you can't miss them! There is a large free parking area off of 84, Exit 31.

Tilly Jane Trail

If you are looking to do a hike with spectacular views of Mt. Hood, we recommend the Tilly Jane Trail. The trailhead is about 40 minutes from downtown Hood River. But if you are looking for other hiking options in the area, please feel free to reach to us! We have *tons* of recommendations.

To cool off and watch some exciting water sports or even try your hand at kiteboarding, make your way down to the Hood River Event Site! There is an area where you can swim in the Columbia River, as well. For gear rentals, we recommend Big Winds in downtown Hood River.
