Jordan and Hope had known *of* each other throughout most of high school. They shared plenty of mutual friends, yet somehow never quite ran in the same circles. It wasn’t until the summer of 2019 that Jordan finally decided to reach out. At first, Hope was skeptical. Shortly after connecting, Jordan left for a two-week trip—and to her surprise, she couldn’t stop thinking about him while he was gone. The moment he returned, she invited him over for ice cream with her and her siblings. She figured that if he could hold his own with them, this just might have a chance. On the Fourth of July, Jordan asked Hope to be his girlfriend. But being the stubborn girl she is, Hope refused to share her anniversary with a holiday. So on July 6th, she told Jordan he could take her on a *real* first date. She even wrote him a love letter that read, “Will you be my boyfriend? Check yes or no.” In the parking lot of Dave & Buster’s on July 6, 2019, they officially became a couple. Over the years, they’ve experienced so much together—growing, learning, and standing side by side through every high and low. With each passing day, they fall more in love, continually choosing one another through all of life’s ups and downs. In 2023, they took the next big step and moved in together. Then, on August 30, 2025, Jordan proposed in a field of sunflowers—Hope’s favorite. Now, they are beyond excited to keep choosing each other, every single day, for the rest of their lives. 💛🌻
