Question

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel/s?

Answer

Given the number of guests attending our wedding, and to ensure everyone with as much flexibility as possible, no pre-arrange transport will be organised.

Question

Are taxis easily available?

Answer

Yes, they are easily available in Tulum, however as this is a tourist destination, they are known for being quite expensive, so we recommend not arranging accommodation too far from the wedding venue.

Question

Are children and partners invited?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to capacity, we cannot accommodate partners not named on our wedding invitations. Likewise, we cannot accommodate children. We apologise for any inconvenience, but hope that this gives you a chance to let your hair down in Mexico! Please let us know if either of these are likely to be an issue before you RSVP.

Question

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Your attendance at our wedding is the most important thing to us. However, if you would like to give a gift we will have our registry linked in this website closer to the time. As much as we would be extremely grateful for any gifts, we kindly ask that you order through our registry rather than bringing gifts to the wedding due to our luggage space.

Question

What date do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP as early as possible, but no later than 6 December 2024. You can RSVP directly on this website on the home page or in the RSVP tab.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony is being held on the beach and reception will also be outdoors but under a pergola. The climate during the day is hot at this time of year but can cool down in the evening, so we recommend that you bring a light jacket or shawl for later in the day. In case of rain, an alternative location at the same venue will be used.

Question

What is the weather like in Tulum in February?

Answer

The average daily temperatures in Tulum is 26 to 30 degrees celsius / 80 to 86 degrees fahrenheit. With temperatures dropping to around 18 degrees celsius / 66 degrees fahrenheit in the evening.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The grooms party will be wearing formal cream/tan suits and the bridal party will be wearing olive green. We encourage you to wear colourful, formal attire but please wear whatever you feel most comfortable in. Our wedding will be on the beach and so you may want to join us barefoot for the ceremony.

Question

What is the local currency?

Answer

The local currency is Mexican Pesos. Tulum generally accepts both USD and Pesos, however for local shopping, taxi’s and local tourism trips we recommend bringing some Pesos to avoid having to pay the high exchange rate being applied by local businesses. For hotels, pre-planned excursions and dining, credit cards and USD are accepted.

Question

Who should I contact for additional support?

Answer

If you have any questions or need any support please contact our amazing Wedding Planner, Barb Luna at hello@lunalifeweddings.com

Question

What are the wedding colours?

Answer

The wedding colours are olive green and cream/tan. These colours will be featured in the bridal parties attire, decor and other elements of the celebration.
