In 2007, at Fayetteville State University in African American History class with Dr. Hennessey sits two that never knew they would fall in love with each other. Although they shared this 50 minutes of time together, three times a week, it won't be until they meet amongst mutual friends do they determine that they have eyes for each other. The couples trip to the beach, with our then partners, we enjoyed everyone's company through the other lens. Then we return, immediate friends and began hanging out...the story is history since then. We married on October 5, 2007. We must share the bad to know that forgiveness is real and powerful and the reason we love so much harder now. In 2011, unfortunately, we separated and divorced a few years later. Trying to experience the world apart and through co-parenting, we often found each other as friends and sharing the good and bad of life with each other. Christmas 2017, he realized that no life is meant living without his "Hope". New Year's 2018, our fate was sealed as lovers and best friends. And for the second time, we are doing life together AGAIN. Making the long story short, life is twice as nice the second go around.
