Hope and Ben's story began in 2015 when they first crossed paths as freshmen at Lexington Catholic High School. Their initial encounter was a movie date, but they went their separate ways until junior year when they began reconnecting and went to prom together. In their senior year, they bonded during history class and went on their second date. Ben officially asked Hope to be his girlfriend in November before a Lexington Catholic football game. After graduating in 2019, Hope went on to attend the University of Dayton in Ohio, while Ben attended the University of Kentucky. Despite the distance, they committed to maintaining their relationship, making the effort to visit each other on weekends. In 2021, they welcomed a furry addition to their lives, a goldendoodle named Frankie. Following their college graduation in 2023, Ben and Hope reunited in Lexington. They celebrated five years of dating in November and on December 9th, Ben proposed to Hope at Castle and Key Distillery. Today, Hope is a reporter for the Anderson News in Lawrenceburg, Ky, while Ben works as an Associate Sales Consultant with Depuy Synthes in Lexington, Ky. Their upcoming wedding on New Year's Eve is eagerly awaited, promising to be a magical night filled with cherished moments and the presence of dear family and friends. Their journey from high school to this significant milestone has been marked by love and numerous big and small milestones, signifying the dawn of a new chapter in their lives.
