While wrapping gifts for our kids on Christmas Eve, I stumbled on a red box hidden under a blanket. Jeff told me it was my Christmas gift and he had it hidden so he could wrap it. Inside was a view finder, with a disk of us through the years. When I got to the last slide, all typed out was this beautiful tribute to our love with one question at the bottom, “Will you marry me?” With shaking hands and teary eyes, I pulled the view finder down to see Jeff on one knee. As parents we don’t get much time to just pause in our love, but this moment was just that. Us. Although, it didn’t last long because Kellen got up about 12 times that night lol.
