Why the Schmidt House?

Answer

The Schmidt House was the home of Leopold and Johanna Schmidt, founders of the Olympia Brewing Company. This is an iconic piece of Olympia's history and is also pictured on our save-the-date cards! Do I get a Plus 1?

Answer

If it's not specified on your invitation, please search for yourself in the RSVP system to see who's included in your party. If that doesn't help clarify, please reach out to Hope to see if we have space for partners, kids, etc.!

Is there a hotel block reserved?

Answer

No, because most of our guests live in Olympia or have family in the area, we did not reserve a hotel block. If you need help finding accommodation, please reach out.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive to the Schmidt House between 3:30 and 3:45 p.m. Our ceremony will start promptly at 4:00 p.m. Thank you!

Is there parking at the Schmidt House?

Answer

Yes, there are approximately 100 parking spots.

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Gifts are not expected, and our tiny apartment doesn't have space for any more items, so we did not create a traditional gift registry. However, if you would like to give a gift, we would appreciate contributions to our future travel plans. Thank you!

Are you already married?

Answer

Yes, we went to the Thurston County Courthouse on last June with our immediate families and got legally married! And we're so excited to celebrate with ALL of our people at our 2025 celebration!!!
