Online dating doesn't always go well. So when Nathan started looking at my profile and I started looking at his I was nervous. We chatted for about a week or so before I finally agreed to a date. I was unsure of what to expect. I did not expect him to bring me my favorite flowers, or to shake my grandma's hand upon first meeting her. Our date started out with a walk at Batemans Island where I casually warned him I was a clutz. I then managed to completely fall on my butt in the dirt. Twice. We went to the arcade, to his house where he sang me a song and we ate pizza. Had our first kiss as well as walked the length of Howard Amon park. We talked about everything and discovered so much in common. Our love of animated movies. Our passion for camping and fishing. Our love for food and my over indulgence for pizza (seriously almost every week). We also have a game obsession, we love to play video games, card games, and boardgames. Our first date was 14 hours long. We have had a lot of ups and downs. But here we are 6 years later about to vow to spend the rest of our lives together.
Our wedding was originally set for December 5th 2020. Then covid happened. So in September 2020 we decided to postpone the wedding to March 2021. We didn't want to cut our guest lists so we hoped covid guidelines would be lifted. Surprise! October 1st came and we found out we were expecting a little of joy! So in December we decided to postpone our wedding again. This mama didn't want to be be pregnant at her wedding. Third times the charm. Now December 4th we get to include our beautiful baby girl Audrey into our wedding. We can't wait to celebrate our new adventure!!
