What is the attire?

Answer

Formal-garden party. For the church, we ask that you dress in formal attire: men wear suits and women wear modest dresses. For the reception, think backyard garden party; shed those layers and be comfortable!

Please RSVP by the date listed on the formal invitation.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:30 pm. We ask that you arrive around 6 pm for enough time to park and find your way into the church. Note: The church has a 5:15 pm mass, so if you arrive extra early, expect mass to be taking place. If you arrive EXTRA early, you could attend the mass!

Where do I park?

Answer

Church parking is free at 3602 Laclede Ave, Saint Louis, MO, 63108. Reception parking is free across from the neighborhood entrance at 2906 Ossenfort Rd. Wildwood, MO 63038. A shuttle bus will transport you to and from the reception. No parking is permitted within the neighborhood.

I am coming from out of town- where should I stay?

What color are the bridesmaids wearing?

Answer

The bridesmaids will be wearing a champagne/ light gold color.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be indoors at the church. The reception will be outside at the Hoover's home; there will be fans and you can walk inside to cool off if needed.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Your invite will be in your name and your partners name if a plus one has been given.

Is the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

No. St. Francis Xavier College Church is about 40 minutes from the Hoover's home. Following the ceremony, guests should plan to travel straight to the house's parking location for the cocktail hour.

Will there be transportation?

Answer

All guests should expect to drive, carpool, or Uber/ Lyft to ceremony and reception locations. We advise you to pre-schedule any Uber/ Lyft services due to locations.
