When should I RSVP by? Do I really have to submit an RSVP?

Answer

Yes, please submit your RSVP online by August 1st to help keep us organized as we plan for our big day! We greatly appreciate your cooperation.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to a limited capacity at the venue our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/dressy casual attire. Ladies should wear dresses, skirts, or nice pantsuits. Gentlemen should wear a suit and tie, a sports coat, or a polo/button up with slacks or dress pants.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Due to the limited capacity of the venue, we have decided that this will be an adult-only event.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 6:30 pm. We recommend you arrive 15-20 minutes early to park and find a seat.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

We kindly ask that you refrain from taking pictures or videos at the ceremony. Our officiant will remind guests before the ceremony starts to put away all their phones.

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

We will be serving fajitas with chips and queso. We will also be providing a variety of soft drinks, water, and lemonade. Please note that there will not be any alcohol and we politely ask that you refrain from bringing any or you will be promptly removed per our vendor agreement.

I can't attend the wedding in person. Will there be a virtual wedding celebration?

Answer

Yes, we plan to have a video option. Please indicate if you will not be able to join in person and would like to be on the virtual invite!

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

There is ample parking by the venue. You will enter and go down a long driveway and come up to a gatehouse. You will mention that you are there for the Terry HoosWedding and they will let you in. Follow the signs for Garey House. Then park in the parking lot.

If I am writing a check, who do I make it out to?

Answer

Make it out to the Groom Benjamin Hoos. His name is not going to change :)
