✈️For the easiest travel experience, we recommend flying into Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL).
✈️ Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) is approximately a 20–30 minute drive from Pompano Beach, depending on traffic, making it the most convenient airport for our wedding weekend festivities
Our ceremony will include several meaningful Filipino traditions: the coin (arras) ceremony, veil, and cord ritual. Each symbolizes unity, prosperity, and the sacred bond of marriage as we begin our life together.
The arras, or coins, represent prosperity and mutual care. During this tradition, coins are exchanged as a symbol of our commitment to support one another and share life’s blessings together.
A veil is placed over the couple to symbolize unity and protection. It represents two individuals coming together to begin life as one.
A ceremonial cord is placed in a figure-eight shape around the couple, symbolizing an everlasting bond and lifelong partnership.
The Fortune Dance is a joyful Filipino tradition where guests take turns dancing with the couple while offering a small monetary gift. It is a gesture of love, support, and good fortune for the newlyweds. Guests who wish to participate are kindly asked to bring small bills and wear comfortable shoes or sneakers.
Not at all. All traditions are optional for guests to observe or participate in. We simply love sharing these meaningful moments with our family and friends.
