Welcome to Islesboro! We're so excited to share one of our favorite places on earth with you! Islesboro is accessible via a 20 min ferry ride from Lincolnville, ME. We recommend you reserve a ferry ticket 30 days prior to your arrival by calling 207-734-6935. The ferry runs from Lincolnville from 8am-5pm and departs from: Maine State Ferry Service 20 McKay Road, RTE 173 Lincolnville, ME 04849 For long distance travel - we recommend flying into Boston Logan International Airport and renting a car. From Boston to the ferry landing is about 3.5 hrs. For shorter flights consider flying into Portland, ME (2 hrs to ferry) or Knox County Regional Airport, Owls Head, ME (30 mins to ferry). Renting a car is possible in Portland, ME and Knox County Regional, but book in advance here: http://rkdrentals.com/ We will be on the island starting Wed 8/2 - Tues 8/8 and we'd love for you to join for any and all days! Please book accommodations ASAP as they rent fast.
