Q + A

Question

What is the schedule of events?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 12:30PM at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. There will be a break between mass ending and the reception beginning. Please feel free to explore around Dallas and/or freshen up in the meantime. The reception will begin at 3:30PM with cocktail hour at the Hall of State. Dinner and dancing is to immediately follow. The night will conclude around 8:00PM. We are so excited to see you soon and celebrate together!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, we request that people wear formal attire. This typically includes: men wearing suits and women wearing floor-length or nice cocktail dresses. However, please note that this is only a suggestion, as we want everyone to be comfortable and have fun.

Question

Can I take pictures at the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means we ask all phones and cameras to be placed on silent/turned off and put away. We have hired professional photographers and videographers to capture the moment. After the ceremony and church exit, please feel free to take as many photos as you would like.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

To allow all guests (including parents) a night of relaxation, we respectfully ask that no children attend the ceremony/reception other than close family and those actively participating in the ceremony (i.e. ring bearer/flower girl). Your invitation will be made out to "The {Last Name} Family” if your children are invited. You may check under the RSVP tab in the event you are unsure.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and/or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be onsite parking at both the ceremony and reception. Please see the "travel" section for further details regarding navigation.
