Where are you registered?
Answer
We have a wedding registry at Target, Amazon.com, as well as right here on our Zola wedding website.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
Answer
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should kindly wear cocktail dresses or evening gowns, and the gentleman should wear a suit and tie or sports coat.

Does your wedding have a theme?
Answer
We ask that if possible all guests wear neutral colors on the day of the event. The aesthetic of our wedding consists of forest green, golds, and neutral tones.

Will the ceremony be taking place indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Both ceremony and reception will be taking place outdoors. There will be shade underneath the wedding pavilion as well as indoor resting areas for our older guests.

What will the weather be like this time of year?
Answer
Early April lows in Florida consist of temperatures nearing 53 degrees Fahrenheit and highs reaching up to 83 degrees Fahrenheit on average.

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?
Answer
Both our wedding and reception as well as rehearsal dinner will take place at the beautiful La Venture Grove located at, 2375 Moremen Rd, Switzerland Fl 32259.

Once I turn down Moremen Rd. How far down do I drive?
Answer
Please continue on the dirt road until you see the posted sign for La Venture Grove. You will drive about a mile past local driveways. Once you spot the sign please make a left into the drive (green fence as landmark) and follow parking instructions from event staff.

Where do we park?
Answer
All guests will have access to unlimited parking at the La Venture Grove Venue site. Please follow directional signs leading to the entrance of the venue.

What happens after the ceremony?
Answer
After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures near by for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception pavilion where we will be serving finger foods and beverages.

What time should I arrive?
Answer
The ceremony will begin at 3:00pm on April 3rd, 2021. Please arrive with enough time to get comfortable before the ceremony start time. Preferably 10-15 min in advance.

What should I do if I cannot make it?
Answer
Please RSVP “No” to wedding invite or reach out to the Bride and Groom personally. Please return all responses by the respective RSVP deadline.

Are children welcome?
Answer
Yes! Unless noted otherwise we have accounted for the children of all our guests. We love each and everyone of of you and your families and wish for you to all be in attendance on our special day.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
We have a strict guest list in place to adhere to COVID-19 guidelines. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate for those guests listed on your invitation.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?
Answer
Catering will be provided by Chefs Garden Catering and Events. Multiple options will be displayed to accommodate all dietary restrictions and requirements of our guests. For more details please contact the bride directly.

More information about the venue?

La Venture Grove is a historical home and orange grove nestled in the heart of Switzerland, Fl. The six acre property sits on the east side of the St. John’s river promising breath taking sunsets from the west. It is graced with beautiful 500+ year old oak trees draped in Spanish moss. The home was built in 1880 by the Moreman family and still has its original siding, flooring, windows, doors, and much more. It features a brand new luxurious bridal suite, an old smoke room style grooms suite, as well as a brand new 2,000 square foot pole barn style pavilion. We cannot wait to endure the most special day of our lives at this beautiful setting with each and everyone of you!
