Growing up, she may have claimed the “older sister” title, but she also spoiled Christine and let her win most arguments (big sister energy, but make it sweet). They may be twins with totally opposite personalities, but hey—opposites attract!

Wei and Hong first met in high school when Wei transferred to the High School of Economics and Finance, but their friendship really took off at Baruch College, where lunch hangouts between classes became a regular thing. Even after Wei moved to Texas, they never missed a chance to reunite over a good meal whenever Wei was back in NYC — because some traditions (and friendships) are just too good to let go.

Christine and Jana first met at Boston University, but their real friendship didn’t kick off until two months after graduation, when they reunited at a BU alumni event. They ended up ditching the party early for Thai food—and over noodles and laughs, made a pact to grab dinner once a month. Ten years later, that tradition’s still going strong (now with Erica as the third member of the crew)!

Hong and Alvin’s friendship began back in high school and remains one of Hong’s closest and most reliable bonds to this day — the kind he knows he can count on, no matter what. Through life’s toughest challenges, they’ve always had each other’s backs. It’s the kind of friendship where, even if months go by without seeing each other, the moment they reunite, it’s like no time has passed at all.

Victoria and Christine have been best friends and each other’s ultimate hype-women since freshman year of high school, when they sat across from each other at lunch every day. Victoria met Hong early in the relationship and even helped him pull off a fabulous pink-and-navy-themed birthday dinner for Christine — now that’s bestie dedication!

Cheng and Hong, like all of Hong’s groomsmen, have known each other since high school—and together with Alvin, they make up the unbeatable trio. Chosen for his fun and supportive vibe, Cheng has been a constant in Hong’s life—like that one legendary night where the three drank a bit too much and Cheng ended up asleep in Hong’s bathroom.
