Both the ceremony and the reception will be held at the Permanent Library Limited in Vancouver, B.C. There will be no need to leave the venue until you're ready to head home. All festivities will happen in one place!
The ceremony will begin at 6:00pm. Yes, this is later than most weddings - that's because we're not doing a traditional style wedding!
This means that there will not be a formal seated dinner - you will not have an assigned seat and you will not receive a plated dinner. Instead, food will be served cocktail style! We will have servers passing around canapes, and there will be a few food stations for you to pick up handheld bites. Don't worry - you will be fed!! There will also be some delicious desserts and a fun midnight snack!
There will be plenty of low top, high top and lounge seating throughout the venue, so if you get tired of standing, you'll have a place to sit. However, we encourage you to mix and mingle with our guests! We will have designated spaces for jackets, purses and shoes if/when you decide to abandon them for the dance floor.
We’ll have vegetarian, gluten-free, and other options available at the food stations. If you have specific allergies, please let us know on your RSVP.
We encourage you to dress to impress, but be sure to wear comfortable shoes as we are hosting a cocktail style reception and expect everyone to spend lots of time on the dancefloor!
The venue does not have on-site parking as it’s located on a main road, but there are a few public parking lots available within walking distance. We'd recommend the EasyPark (Lot 2) located at 150 West Pender Street. It's accessible 24/7 and is a 2 minute walk from the venue.
Please check your invitation. If your name is listed with a guest, then yes - you can bring that guest. Otherwise, we’re keeping the celebration intimate and appreciate your understanding.
