✈️ Getting to Lake Como: The closest airport is Milan Malpensa (MXP). From there, you have four main options to reach the town of Como. See below for details. Rental Car (~1 hour): many options right from Milan Malpensa. This is the best option if you'd like freedom to explore the towns along the lake. Bus (~50 min) Train (45 mins - 1 hour) Taxi/Uber (~45 min) 🏨 Where to Stay Our venue is in Laglio (25 min north of Como). There are many trains from Milan to Como. Trains go from Milano Centrale and go direct to Como San Giovanni right to central Como. The trains are operated by Regionale, Trenitalian, or Trenord. Or you can take a Trenord train from Milano Cadorna to Como Lago.
