We met in May of 2020, in the middle of a world that felt completely unpredictable. But from the moment we started talking, everything between us just made sense. There was no awkward small talk — just hours of deep, unfiltered conversations about life, the world, and things most people don’t say out loud. We connected instantly, in a way that felt familiar, like we had known each other long before that first conversation. We began dating the next month in June 2020 and 10 days later, we both caught Covid together. Quarantining together was unexpected but it bonded us in ways weeks of dating never could. By the end of those four weeks, we literally couldn't fathom leaving each other's sides, so we let the sleepovers turn permanent, and decided to officially move in together. From the start, it felt like we were reconnecting from a past life; there was a deep sense of familiarity and an unspoken understanding that what we had was extraordinary. This was more than just a relationship; it was a profound connection we both recognized as something rare — the kind of connection where we knew, without question, we had found our forever person. Right from the beginning, we understood and saw each other with unparalleled clarity, recognizing depths in each other that no one else had ever noticed. At times, we had to step back to figure out how to make this work, but no matter what, we always found our way back to each other. Every time, it became clearer — this was something real, something worth fighting for, something worth every lesson we had to learn. We’ve been through everything already — the highs, the lows, the moments of figuring out what works and what doesn’t. But through it all, one thing has always been true: this is forever.
