Terrance and I originally met in 2012 at Times Square Church during the 6pm service. We had both participated in the Easter play and we were asked to share our salvation stories with the congregation. There we were, sitting next to each other on stage not knowing that 6 years later we would become husband and wife! After he shared his testimony, I sent him an email letting him know that it was inspiring. He responded to my note but nothing came of it and we did not stay in touch. By the way, we still have the original emails. In 2016, I became "seat-mates" with Sister Juanita during the 10am church service. One particular morning, she told me to wait a minute as she was expecting someone from her ministry to stop by (Military ministry). That someone looked very familiar - it was Terrance. We were re-introduced, but nothing came of it. In 2017, Terrance started helping out with the Hospitality ministry - which I am in. On January 29th, I happened to be in the kitchen at the same time as Terrance. We started chatting and found that we had a lot in common. We were both excited about what it could mean but neither of us said anything. Until....the following Tuesday, Terrance boldly asked me if I wanted to grab something to eat after the 7pm prayer meeting. Like the perfect gentleman, he opened the door to the restaurant, walked me to my train station, and waited for me to get my train which departs hourly! Not only that, he asked me if he could call me and gave me the specific time and day when I could expect to hear from him - Wednesday at 12pm during his lunch break. The rest you can say is history because on January 20th, 2018 Terrance asked me if I would be his wife. We look forward to celebrating our journey with you on (Monday) August 20th 2018!
