q & a

Question

Is there a ceremony?

Answer

No, our event will be a reception only. We hope you will join in on the celebration, dinner and dancing!

Question

Is “Jono” his real name?

Answer

No, but let him have it. ... and, anyway, “Amy” isn't her real name either.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We’re shooting for cocktail attire or fancier, but we want this day to be fun and comfortable for everyone. Dance-friendly outfits and shoes are encouraged. ...Try to avoid wearing a long white dress.

Question

Am I able to bring my child?

Answer

Our reception is for adults only.

Question

What’s the parking situation?

Answer

Street parking is very limited and/or metered. We encourage you to use a ride sharing service or carpool.

Question

Will it be safe to go to an in-person event?

Answer

We hope so! It is expected to be safe for indoor gatherings by the fall. Our lovely venue is also only partially-enclosed, so there is a lot of airflow. Extra masks will be available for those who need them. We will ask everyone to get tested beforehand, and nearly everyone attending is vaccinated. However, we completely understand if you are not comfortable attending in person. We can find another time to celebrate virtually or grab dinner. If there is another big spike or if local ordinances prohibit gatherings, we will of course reschedule. If you can, please get vaccinated!

Question

Wait, is this a ploy to force us to listen to Jono’s standup?

Answer

Yes, and there’s a 2-drink minimum.

For all the days along the way
