What time should we arrive?

Answer

A good rule of thumb is to be 20-15 minutes early. Please note, our venue is located near train tracks so give yourself extra time just in case there’s a train. We've waited for what feels like forever to find each other so we don't want to wait any longer to finally say "I do!" Please arrive early so we can make sure you're a part of our special day from the very beginning! ⏰

Can we bring our own drinks to the reception?

Answer

Sorry but nope! Old Dobbin Station does not allow any outside beverages on the property (this includes the chapel, reception hall and parking lot). If found, there will be a fine so please don’t let our Honeymoon Fund become a TABC fine fund! 🙈

So how can I drink my favorite beer/wine/liquor while toasting the happy couple??

What should I wear?!

Answer

Don’t stress! If you’re invited to spend this day with us, it’s because we love you and will take you how you come! But if you’re looking for more direction we suggest your Sunday best or cocktail attire for the ladies and slacks or dark denim paired with a button down shirt for the guys. Feel free to shine your boots and dust off your cowboy/cowgirl hats too! 🤠

What will the DJ be playing and can I make a request?

We both love music of all kinds from every decade and genre! The music you’ll hear on our wedding day has been lovingly and mindfully chosen. Some of you probably know how we fell in love in the kitchen while cooking together and crooning to Leon Bridges, Cody Johnson and The Beach Boys (to name a few!). So we’re excited to give you glimpse of that and hope you enjoy the playlist. But once we’re all out on the dance floor, if you’ve got a song in your heart, feel free to sing it all the way over to the DJ and request it!
