After almost 6 years together, I was ready. Just waiting for him to pop the question . He had been acting funny lately like something was wrong but I had no clue what it could have been. We just purchased our property in East Texas and had not yet been out to look around. So on 9.01.19 Ray asked me do you want to go check out the land? It was a nice day and he knows I love to go anywhere so we got ready to go and he said we didnt have to go that day if I didnt feel like going, but I told him no lets go ahead and go as I know you have been wanting to see it. We get in the car and I suspected nothing. Normal 3 hour car ride to the middle of no where but it was beautiful. Trees everywhere and a little creek running through the land. We were so excited BUT there were bugs everywhere and anyone that knows me knows I do not do flying bugs, so I stayed in the car. He got out to look around but I was not judging from that seat. After about 15 minutes of walking around he got back in and said " So you wanna get marry me huh". I thought he was playing like he normally would be doing so I said you know I do, but he reiterated " Do you want to marry me"?. I was so excited and it was the perfect place and time. Driving home was fun as we did not have phone signal I could not tell a soul, but once we did, it was on Facebook and thats how our wedding journey began!!!

It was a normal day just like any other. At work trying to get through the day when the most handsome man came to my work station looking for scanning papers. He looked so cute in his brown sweat suit and those headphones around his neck (everyone knows how he is about his music 🎶). When he got what he needed he walked off, but something told me to find him, so what does any girl in this situation do, she goes outside to look for him. So I did, but little did I know he was looking for me too. When we met up we talked a little bit about ourselves and work then he asked me out to lunch. How could I resist? We ended up meeting up later that day to hang out and from that day on, we have been inseparable.
