Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Kelly Connors and Holt Mettam
Harbour Island, or locally referred to as 'Briland', is an incredible place to unplug and enjoy the people around you. There are plenty of water activities to partake in, but it is also a wonderful place to 'just be'! Pink Sands beach is one of the most beautiful beaches to unwind and soak up the sun. HI is a small foodie town! We highly suggest making any reservations ahead of time! If you are staying at a hotel, they will help you with this :) If you like boats, it’s worth it to get a tour over to the sand bars, pigs, sea turtles, and more! For those looking to fish and eat their keep, plenty of options to do that as well. When booking, please note any specific needs. We took a great boat out, but it wasn’t great for kids or older people. *While kids are not invited to the wedding events, HI is very family friendly. There are babysitting options on island if you would like to inquire!

Breakfast Spots

Bluwater Bakery: A really cute coffee shop in downtown with great pasteries. They do pizza for lunch until they run out Arthur's Bakery: Great pastries, breakfast & lunch sandwiches, and more. Try their coconut or chili cheese bread! Coffee house: Home roasted coffee beans and a great breakfast burrito! Great homemade pizza on Fridays!! Cocoa House: Located upstairs, pop into Gem & Ryan near Valentines for a delicious Starbucks Coffee as well as their locally inspired smoothies and Sandwiches.

Lunch Spots

Blue Water Bar in Pink Sands Resort: Covered bar with a great beach view. Easy for kids because it is easy to walk up from the beach, or drive into Pink Sands Resort via golf cart (a little hilly). Latitude 25 at Coral Sands Hotel: Great covered bar overlooking the beach! Kid friendly. Queen Conch: Known for its conch salad! The Shack: Easy food for grab and go, right off the main dock! Bar480: This is a bar on the dock of the new Briland Club development on Harbour Island. Definitely not a local place to check off the list, but if you want to look at the yachts from an air-conditioned bar, their food is pretty awesome.

Ocean View Club

Dunmore Town, Harbour Island, Bahamas

One of the last remaining Bahamian owned hotels on the island (this is the sister property to The Other Side Hotel). The Ribs, Steak, Fish and Jerk Chicken were all incredible!

This hotel restaurant is a must for brunch, lunch or dinner! Beautifully styled by Amanda Lindroth, the atmosphere is wonderful and the food is so delicious.

The Landing Hotel & Restaurant

This is one of the most popular restaurants on the island. Their Goat Cheese Ravioli is a must. In the morning delicious coffee, teas and homemade sweet treats. Not to mention the Eggs Benedict is to die for. Later for dinner, superb food, and an excellent wine list. Great for kids!

This has an awesome drive up to the hotel and overlooks the ocean. It was just redesigned and so lovely!
