What date should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by July 31st. If you cannot attend, we would like to know that as well so we can better plan our day.

Please be on the ship at 5:30. The suggested parking is a short walk away from the dock. The yacht will depart promptly at 6:00 pm.

What is the itinerary?

Answer

We will have our wedding ceremony on the party deck of the ship in a covered area. After the ceremony we will go outside for passed hors d’oeuvres and drinks. A buffet dinner will be served which includes vegetarian options. Later we will celebrate and dance until we return to port at 10:00 p.m.

What to wear?

Answer

The average temperature during the day is around 80, but it will cool down in the evening. We will be inside and outside through the course of the evening, so bring a wrap or jacket. There are stairs so wear appropriate footwear. We kindly request formal attire for the occasion.

May I bring my pet onto the boat?

Answer

Only service animals are allowed on the boat.

Are there any regulations regarding festivities on board?

Answer

Use of recreational drugs or outside alcoholic beverages will jeopardize the cruise. The captain will return to port. No open flames of any kind. No smoking or vaping.

Will I get seasick?

Answer

Marina del Rey is a protected body of water in the largest man-made Marina in the United States. Our yacht travels through the tranquil harbor of Marina del Rey amongst 8.5 miles of scenic waterway where the scenic views of the Los Angeles coastline and Santa Monica Bay are breathtaking. There is virtually no risk of seasickness or motion sickness cruising these calm waters.

Yes.

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?

Answer

We are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding. If the invitation you received reads “Your name and Guest” we have planned for you to have a plus-one.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

TBD. There will be a professional photographer taking photographs.

Where to send gifts?

Answer

Cards and small gifts will be gratefully accepted on a table aboard the Dandeana. Under the registry tab of our website, we have a honeymoon fund, which is our preferred gift. We have also selected items at various price points that will ship directly to us if ordered through our registry.
