Things to do

We are excited to share everything we love about San Diego with you all - here are some of our favorite places to play, see, and eat!

Say Hello to the Sea Lions in La Jolla Cove

La Jolla Cove, San Diego, CA 92037

Come check out our neighborhood! We do nightly walks around the cove to watch the sunset and say hello to our favorite neighbors. Fair warning - they might not smell like flowers, but these neighbors of ours provide endless entertainment!

Kayak La Jolla Cove

2199 Avenida De La Playa, San Diego, CA 92037
, (858) 459-1114

Look for a Groupon to do a La Jolla Cove Cave Kayak Tour and kayak through some of the arches in La Jolla cove. You'll see bright orange girabaldi (the California state fish) from your kayaks, and may even get the chance to see some dolphins! If it's nice enough you can jump off your kayak and take a quick dip in the ocean, too.

Hike Torrey Pines State Reserve - a great beach hike with amazing views!

13594 Mar Scenic Drive, Del Mar, CA 92014

The hike takes about an hour or two and is about a 2-3 mile loop - you'll hike up the hill, through Torrey Pines State Reserve, down the dirt trail to the ocean, and walk back along the beach to your starting point. You'll have amazing ocean views throughout the entire hike, and it's a great way to get a little fresh air and exercise - but not too strenuous!

Golf Torrey Pines

11480 North Torrey Pines Road, San Diego, CA 92037
, (858) 452-3226

Golfers - set your tee-time early! This books up quickly, but is a world-famous spot and home of the Farmers Open. Golf course has beautiful ocean views.

Bike the Mission Bay Bike Path

3220 Bayside Walk, San Diego, CA 92109

Right across the bay from the hotel - rent cruisers at one of the many bike shops around mission bay

Embark on a San Diego Brewery Tour

10051 Old Grove Road, San Diego, CA 92131

The San Diego craft brew scene is huge - call an uber and hop around town tasting some of San Diego's (and the country's) best beers. Stone, Ballast Point, Alesmith, Rough Draft, St Archer, Green Flash, Belching Beaver, and SO many more!

Eat Mexican Food in Old Town at Casa de Reyes

2754 Calhoun Street, San Diego, CA 92110
, (619) 297-3100

San Diego is known for its Mexican food - here, there are tons of spots to grab some chips, salsa, and a margarita while you listen to live music and can walk around the shops

Stroll around Balboa Park

San Diego, CA
, (619) 239-0512

A massive park with gorgeous grounds, architecture, and museums. Fun place to walk around. You can also grab a bite to eat/drink at Panama 66 beer garden or The Prado

Monkey around at the San Diego Zoo

2920 Zoo Drive, San Diego, CA 92101
, (619) 231-1515

Right next to Balboa Park, we have annual passes and this is one of our favorite ways to spend a day

Ride the Giant Dipper at Belmont Park

3146 Mission Boulevard, San Diego, CA 92109
, (858) 488-1549

Amusement park on the beach - roller coaster, rides, arcade, mini golf and more right near the hotel

Check out the famous Hotel del Coronado

1500 Orange Avenue, Coronado, CA 92118
, (619) 435-6611
For all the days along the way
