Go all the way back to 2012 and you will find two freshman in college, 18 years old, newly initiated into their sorority and fraternity... And that's where this story starts. I was a Delta Delta Delta at The University of Alabama, and on this particular night in November of 2012, it was the last week of classes before finals week. That night, Tri Delt had a pledge party with Phi Delta Theta, but based on my grades that semester I definitely didn't need to be attending. Prior to this night, I had made some good friends that were Phi Delts, so my pledge sisters talked me into it. I was being responsible, I wasn't going to drink, and I was going to leave early to study. *Enter Klein* and all of my plans changed. Fast forward an hour or so... there I was at the shot table (so much for not drinking). In the meantime, one of Klein's pledge brothers had made him a bet: If you can take home the hottest girl at the party tonight, I'll give you $20. How Nobel! But that girl ended up being me. We spent the next ...however long... talking in this dirty, tiny house that smelled like beer, I asked him to take a picture with me (weird, but what a memory), and he did NOT win $20 that night. After this night we were inseparable. I actually moved out of my dorm and into his a month later and we started dating on January 11th, 2013. 6 months later, along comes our precious shihpoo, Champ, and cue one more year... Our big Odie joined the family! I graduated from Alabama in 2016, moved us to my hometown of Wilmington, NC and the rest is history. It has been a long ride in these 10 years together, but I wouldn't want to spend this life with anyone else. It has always been you Bobby! I cannot wait to be your wife. -Caroline
