Father of the Groom
Sometimes when I need a miracle, I look into John’s eyes and realize I already have one.
Father of the Bride
As Maddie’s stepdad, I could not be prouder of the woman she has become. I first met Maddie when she was 1-1/4 yrs old, first impression was spirited, rambunctious, a little firecracker. Met Maddie again 6 months later when I started dating her lovely mom. At such a young age Maddie had a sense of things and possessed a caring nature on a level you would not expect from someone so young. You could not help but love that little girl. And as she grew up I could see all the people she touched with her genuine care and her amusing sense of humor. Maddie truly has a gift, and since you know Maddie, you have already seen this.

To my daughter who continues to dance in life listening to her own music as she choreographs her moves with purpose creating her own opportunities and growth. Keep dancing! I will always sit in the front row because I am your biggest fan.

Best Man
I first met John at an open gym basketball practice after 8th grade. We discovered that we shared similar values, senses of humor, and outlook on life. Throughout high school we cultivated multiple mutual friend groups, and consistently dominated in Squad Hoops, a tradition that continues to this day.

In our family there have been many trails that lead in diverse directions. Maddie has traveled those paths with an unusual confidence and grace. Those solo flights and train trips still amaze me. The family runs, hikes, camping, movies, and travels are always sweeter with her there. I feel an immeasurable good fortune for all the times we have had together moving along life’s path. I hope we will still share family adventures, but for now I wish her and John the most incredible journey ahead. It’s going to be amazing.

Maid of Honor
Maddie and I became best friends in high school. Bonding over AP psychology and our mutual love for crime shows really brought us together. After realizing how similar we are, we’ve stayed best friends ever since. And now we have the army in common, yet another thing that brings us together. That being said, even if we had nothing in common, I would be lost without her.

The beginning of our friendship was when John officially joined the "squad" with myself, Mike, and Chase. I knew I had gained a best friend for life. Some of my favorite memories include squad hoops, doing yard-work for Mr. Holly so he would let John hang with the boys, and dragging John to join me for an evening swim of roughly 3000 yards for the sake of fitness.

Maddie and I met in 1st grade. We were in class for so long together and didn’t talk much but when we did we clicked instantly. There was never a dull moment together. From spending our summers swimming everyday to begging our parents to have sleepovers on school nights. I think my favorite memories with Maddie was having snow days and watching horror movie-thons all day.

In 2013, I don’t know that I ever even had so much as a passing conversation with John. I only knew of him through Chase. Fast forward to the summer of 2014, and I found myself playing a summer league tennis match against him. John and I established a friendship on this tennis court that has – over time, additional tennis matches, trips in the Squad Van, and many other great times– developed into a permanent friendship that I deeply cherish.

I have known Maddie my whole life, and although we were sometimes separated by counties, states or countries, she is a huge part of my life. I have always considered her to be a role model for me. As a big sister she has shown me what to do and what not to do in life. No matter how far away Maddie is from me, I know she will always be there to answer a call if I need her. I’m so happy to be a part of John and Maddie’s big day.

I met John in PT school. We've done a lot of fun things while on campus like Top Golf and bar hopping, but just getting to hangout has been my favorite thing since we are only on campus every couple months. Since then, we've become great friends who can talk and vent about literally anything.

Maddie and I became sisters after our parents met when we were very young. We were inseparable. We have always been a good balance; she would encourage me to be more active and get out of the house while I would encourage her to relax and chill at home. Some of my fondest memories include our Christmas tree outings, camping in the backyard, hanging out at the library and playground up the street, mall shopping, and watching scary movies. Even though we did not always get along, Madz is the best little sister I could ever ask for.

Maddie and I are cousins. A quote I saw that reminded me of our bond is “A cousin is a little bit of childhood that can never be lost.” Even being the older cousin I have learned a lot from Maddie. She has the best sense of humor and when we are together we can never stop laughing!
