Please do not miss Acadia; whether it's a drive on the Park Loop Road, a hike up the Bubbles, high tea at Jordan Pond, or a Cadillac Sunrise, do not miss this amazing park. Check out the National Park website for pass information (timed-passes required for Cadillac Mountain).
Whether you want to experience Acadia from land or sea, Acadia Bike Rentals has got you covered. Rent bikes to tour the 45 miles of Carriage Roads (fun fact: Eric's family has a hand in building these) or take a sea kayak tour that weaves in and out of the Porcupine Islands. For the more sea-ready, there's half and full-day paddles. Reservations will definitely be necessary for bike rentals or kayak tours. Just don't be late to the party! ;P
It's more than a bookshop, it's an experience. You can get books, paints (at great deals!), soaps, candles, and other Maine gift-necessities.
What better way to see Bar Harbor than from the ocean? The Margaret Todd is a four-masted 151 ft passenger schooner that cruises around the harbor three times a day. Want a more intimate experience? Windjammer Cruises has two other smaller vessels available for charter. Dogs are allowed :)
