Will and Holly met through Will's best friend (and now, Best Man) Beau Brian. Beau moved to Nashville in 2006. Somehow through God, Faith, and a little bit of Fate- Beau randomly (long story) could live with Holly's family temporarily. Temporarily turned into 3 years. Will used to spend the night with Beau all the time. He was 5 years older, and never saw Holly in "that way". Holly begs to differ. She said, “he was the friend around that always went out of his way to make her laugh, and talk to her. Will is the best". In fact, Will used to drive Holly to Volleyball practice. He used to help babysit Johnny Mac, Holly's younger brother. Both, Will and Beau, graduated High School and headed to Ole Miss for College. We thought that was the end of the story. Fast Forward, June 2015: Maggie and Jay Luna's wedding. Will had been keeping up with Holly and managed to find out small things about Holly through the years. When he saw her, as a bridesmaid at that wedding, he knew she had grown up! June 2016: Will turned 30 years old. Mom, Dad, snd Mrs. Amy flew to Baton Rouge to surprise Will. Mrs. Amy later mentioned to Holly, “Will asked a lot of questions about you during this trip.” One month later, Mrs. Amy scheduled a convenient family vacation to New Orleans. They ended up stopping by the Brian family’s hunting camp. July 2016 Will asked Beau if it was okay to ask Holly on a date. Beau thought he was joking and said "Sure"...haha. Will asked Holly on an official date that same weekend and Holly said, "YES". Will flew to Nashville the next weekend to take her out!

Lake Lanier, Georgia Two years after starting their relationship, Will got down on one knee in front of most of Holly's family on a pier on Lake Lanier. Holly grew up in Atlanta going on Lake Lanier. It was completely unexpected! Holly had no idea what was going on! Will is really good at surprises and caught her completely off guard. The best part was, he invited her dad to drive down to witness his first daughter get engaged. Holly had no idea that Mr. John was there, and hiding with the family. Will proposed on the second day of the trip, which was amazing! they got to celebrate the entire rest of the trip with Holly's family.
