Can I bring my kids to the wedding?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to space limitations at the venue, we are only allowing children who are in the wedding party attend this event. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

Is there a place for me to stay at or near your venue?

Answer

Of course! Marlboro is a just a few miles from Wilmington and Brattleboro where there are plenty of hotel options. Check out the Travel tab for more information.

Is it BYOB or Open Bar?

Answer

Unfortunately, it is not a BYOB event and outside alcoholic beverages are prohibited. We will have a cash bar only with bartenders for both cocktail hour and the reception! We will have multiple options to chose from!

What Should I Wear?

Answer

Dress code for our wedding is casual. We want everyone to feel comfortable in a rustic setting. Late October in Vermont can mean any kind of New England weather, so be sure to have layers! Our ceremony will take place up on a hill, cocktail hour on the front lawn with dinner and dancing in the barn. We recommend comfortable shoes or perhaps a second pair for the reception because, well.. DANCING!

What Time Should I Arrive To The Ceremony?

Answer

While the ceremony begins at 3:30pm, you are welcome to arrive at 3:00pm to get settled. There will be pre-ceremony refreshments and music to enjoy while you gather and wait for the big event to begin.

What Type of Food Will Be Served?

There will be hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour, followed by a BBQ dinner buffet style and cake, of course!
