Travel & where to stay
South Haven Michigan is about 81 miles from Chicago and it will take you approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes to get there from Chicago without traffic. South Haven is also 1 hour ahead of Chicago (eastern time), so make sure that you are adding that extra hour into your travel time, otherwise you will be late. Plan for the trip to be a total of 3 hours 20 minutes with the 1 hour time change.
Be prepared to pay for tolls if you take the toll road to save time. It’s around $10 to take the toll road if you don’t have an IPASS, so make sure the bring cash and change with you.

You can fly into either airports but it is still around a 2 1/2 hour drive from both.
