Pete and Gavin met when they were freshman at Hofstra University in 2007 and have been like brothers ever since. Pete served as Best Man at Gavin’s wedding in 2015 on Long Island, NY. Fun fact: Pete met Gavin on a bus heading to a Yankees game in the Bronx during Freshman Welcome Week. Peter unwisely wore a Red Sox shirt in the Yankee Stadium bleachers, but the two were able to put aside the infamous rivalry.

Cara is Holly’s younger sister (but Cara is taller). Despite being forced to interact, over time they realized they actually enjoy each other’s company.

Pete and Mike have known each other since Spring 2012 and have since bonded over their fandoms of the New York Islanders, New England Patriots and life in general. Pete served as Mike’s Co-Best Man/Groomsman at his wedding in December 2019. Fun fact: The two met at New York’s Penn Station in Spring 2012 while waiting to board an train to Boston. Not surprisingly, the two were unknowingly heading to the same destination - to watch the Islanders play on the road.

Pete and Brian met as colleagues at Hofstra’s Office of Athletic Communications during the 2008-2009 school year. The two quickly developed both a professional and personal friendship and have been best of friends for more than a decade. Fun fact: Pete and Brian have traveled to more than 20 Major League Baseball stadiums together in their quest to attend a game in every ballpark across the country.

Alyssa and Holly met at the University of Texas and were both in Alpha Xi Delta sorority. They have a shared love of reading & craft beer.

Pete and Ricky met in middle school in 2001 when they were assigned to the same home room. From there, they grew up the best of friends and remain close two decades later. The two remain in continuous contact despite their trivial rivalries over collegiate football teams, hockey teams, video games and more. Fun fact: Pete and Ricky’s birthdates are only one day apart.

Elizabeth and Holly met at the University of Texas and were both in Alpha Xi Delta sorority. Elizabeth is Holly’s little sister in the sorority.

Pete has the pleasure of calling Nick his longest-termed friend as the two met at Assawompsett Elementary School in the 90s. Pete and Nick remained tight throughout their years in middle and high school. The two have since visited each other in both Massachusetts and New York over the years. Fun fact: Pete and Nick were both seen on television while attending a taping of the Maury Show in 2010.

Kara and Holly met at the University of Texas and were both in Alpha Xi Delta sorority. They didn’t become close until post college when they bonded over a love of emo/pop punk music & bad Freeform TV shows.

Sadie and Holly met at the University of Texas and were both in Alpha Xi Delta sorority. They immediately bonded over having tons of books in their dorm rooms.

Krista and Holly met through the New York Junior League, when she messaged Holly about the photo of queso she posted on Facebook. They went to dinner and were fast friends ever since.
