Mike and Holly met in a small town in the middle of no where called Carlsbad, New Mexico. Mike had started working there right out of school and Holly was sent there for her first Travel contract. At first Mike wasn't a big fan of Holly as she was very outgoing and sarcastic and took some of the attention at work off of him. Seeing as there wasn't a whole lot to do in small town New Mexico Mike and Holly started spending quite a bit of time together. At first it was simply a friendship as Holly knew her contract would be up and she would be moving on in a few months. Well.... 3 months turned into 6 months and then 6 months into 9 months. Things started to get more serious but both were still in denial. Holly finally decided to finally take a new contract and move out of state and of course Mike was devastated. Once going "long distance" constant texting, snapchatting, and long face time calls occurred. Holly was starting to wonder if Mike was ever going to ask her to be official. Finally Mike convinced Holly to move back down to Texas where he was living/working at the time. Then and only then did he finally asked her to be his girlfriend. After a few months of dating Holly convinced Mike to quit his job and go on the road with her as a traveling physical therapist where they visited places like Saint Louis and Virginia.

So once they finally were officially Boyfriend and Girlfriend of course the question began.... when are you getting engaged? Well as you may know, Holly's parents live over sea's and had not yet met Mike in person. Holly invited Mike to go on a family trip to Morocco so he could meet her family. On this trip Mike asked permission to marry their Daughter. Mike then planned when he was going to pop the question. The couple had planned a trip down to Nashville to watch Mike's favorited NFL team the Tennessee Titans. Holly being the planner that she is had made most of the arrangements for the trip. But then Mike said he had an activity he wanted to do and that he has also made some dinner reservations (suspicious). Mike drove Holly to Centennial park where they walked around enjoying the lovely HOT weather. As they approached the Parthenon Mike got down on one knee and said something TOTALLY romantic that Holly definitely remembers word for word and of course she said YES!! Mike had also hired a photographer who captured the moment and then took some lovely engagement photos. That evening they went and celebrated with champagne and good food before sharing the news with all their friends and family.
