It was the first week of our freshman year at UD. There was an ice cream social for all the incoming freshman students so I showed up hoping to meet some new people. I went around talking to all my friends I met during a summer program and that's when someone introduced me to Mike. My first thought was "dang, he is very cute!" and we chatted for awhile. Who knew this cute guy I met on one of my first days in college would end up being my husband?

One night Holly was working at her evening job. As she stuffed her face with an evening snack containing of chocolate chip cookies, Michael walked in and took her by surprise. He was dressed all fancy to take her out to dinner. After a lovely meal at the Oakwood Club, they traveled back to the UD chapel to finish the evening in adoration. After many people left the chapel, Michael walked Holly to the front of the church and that's when he popped the question! The chapel has always been a special place to them and they can't wait to get married there soon!
